私の検索候補名（Yoko Higashi）を利用していちいち目の敵にする人がいます。
私は2006年6月からインターネットを開始し、始めは日本のイラスト投稿サイトに作品をアップロードしていました。
その年の12月には、本名の英語名Yoko Higashiで日本語のニュースレビューブログを、翌年の10月には複数の海外の画像投稿サイト（英語圏）にイラストや写真作品を投稿してきました。
そして、その海外圏での投稿から2週間程経った頃、複数の検索サイトで、検索候補に私の本名のYoko Higashiが出てきました（以降、今もずっと出ている）。
検索結果は殆ど私が関わる画像投稿サイトで占められていました。
問題はそこからで、私がインターネット始めた頃にエゴサーチで出てきた、フランスのリヨンに移住している同姓同名の人がいるのですが、この人は英語圏ではなくヨーロッパ語圏に住んでいて、私がネットに触れる前まではずっと、長音記号付きの本名を使っていたようで今でもネット検索すれば見られます。
その人のビデオ名義や、それまでの他の数々の活動名義も、ずっと長音記号付きの本名でした。
しかもこの人、『2006年から芸名で活動をする』と、外国のあるサイトでアナウンスされています。
しかし、何故かわかりませんが、2008年に入って以降ずっと、それまでの活動名義・芸名を使っていたのにもかかわらず、私と同姓同名という故か、全部、自分の活動名義を、私を明らかに示す検索候補に出る英語名・Yoko Higashiに変えまくってしまったのです。
しかも今では、GoogleでYoko Higashiで検索すると、右側に人物などの詳細表示がされるのですが、私とその人の生年月日の表示まで全く一緒になっています。
それらは両方共私の生年月日です。
現在では、Google独自の機能で、ある程度知られた人・言葉には、Wikipediaとは違った詳細情報が載せられてますが、私は酷くショックを受けました。
数年前、Facebookでその人の突然の名前の名義変更について本人に訴えたのですが、『自分は元々本名でやってきたし、別に意図なんてないですけど？勘違いも甚だしい、それぞれ別の道を行って関わらないようにしましょ？』と、ブロックされてしまいました。
まあ、元からその人、私に対しては常に上から目線発言の連発で、イラッと来ても我慢してきましたが。
そう、その通りあなたの言うことは正しいです。・・・もともと長音記号使うヨーロッパ語圏の本名ではね。その名義でずっと活動してきたのはもちろん知ってます。
でも、私は、英語にサイト翻訳するのがやっとのレベルなので、長音記号の打ち方なんて知りません。だから、英語の表記名しか出来ないんです。
おまけに、私の公表している生年月日がデータに取り込まれて情報一緒くたになってる状況、この人、一年近くも放置しています。
私は1974年12月20日生まれで、その人は同じ年の4月29日生まれなので全然違います。
何かそこまでやって、メリットでもあるのでしょうか？
こういう人に対して、どう思われますか？
コロコロと活動名義を変えるわ、予告で出た名前と実際の活動の名義が全然違うって言うのを、Flickr等の画像で確認して嫌になりました。
何か怒りというか、邪魔くさい存在ですね。
私が、こうなるまで放っといて来たからこんな事態になったのでしょうね。
私と同姓同名の人は、下の名前の方、ありふれ過ぎな名前なので、現在ネット上にたくさん出てきますが、私はこの人のような行動をする事例は見たことがないです。
ずっと、長音記号付きの、本来使ってきていた名前のままであったなら、どっち道検索結果に出ますし、筋通してるってわかります。
けれども、その人が異常なのは、芸名まで一時封印してまで私と一緒の、検索候補に出てる英語名に全部切り替えたことです。
今では、本来使ってきた長音記号付きの本名と、その英語名、そして当初からの芸名が混雑してる感じです。その上、生年月日が私と全く同一。
この人は一体どうしたいのでしょうか？
10年経った今でも凄い悩みの種です。
他の同姓同名の方々には、一切そんな感情は持っていません。
この人だけです。
因みに私はイラストレーターで、相手は自称レベルのミュージシャンです。まあ、どちらも昔から売れてるとは言えないレベルですが。
